2022 Antipolo local elections

Antipolo will hold its local elections on Monday, May 9, 2022, as a part of the 2019 Philippine general election. Voters will elect candidates for the local elective posts in the city: the mayor, the vice mayor, the two district congressmen, the two provincial board members of Rizal (one for each district) and the sixteen councilors (eight for each district).
Background
Incumbent Mayor Andrea "Andeng" Bautista-Ynares initially declared her intention to run for a second term. Later, she dropped her re-election bid, and she was replaced by her husband, former Rizal Governor and former Mayor Casimiro "Jun" Ynares III. He will be challenged by Wilfredo "Willie" Gelacio Sr., Pedro Leyble, Teddy Leyble, and Herminio Sanchez.
Incumbent Vice Mayor Josefina "Pining" Gatlabayan will run for her third and final term. She will face new candidates, including Atty. Manuel Relorcasa, Edwin Reyes, and Joel Ronquillo.
Incumbent First District Board Member Alexander "Bobot" Marquez will seek a comeback in the city council. Running in his place is former Mayor Danilo "Nilo" Leyble, who previously ran during 2016 as Vice Mayor. Leyble will run unopposed.
Incumbent Second District Board Member Roberto Andres "Randy" Puno Jr. will run for second term unopposed.
Incumbent First District Representative Roberto "Robbie" Puno will run for second term. He will be challenged by Salvador "Raldy" Abaño and Javez "Jebs" Tibio, both running independently.
Incumbent Second District Representative Resurreccion Acop died in 2021 due to COVID-19, making her place vacant. Her husband, former Representative Romeo Acop will run for her instead, unopposed.
