Cirkus is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Rohit Shetty Picturez, T-Series and Reliance Entertainment. The film stars Ranveer Singh in a dual role alongside Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Sharma. It is officially adapted from Angoor (1982) which was based on Shakespeare's play The Comedy of Errors. It also features Deepika Padukone and Ajay Devgn in special appearances.
Principal photography commenced on 17 November 2020 in Mumbai. It has been described as a period comedy set in the 1960s. The film was initially scheduled to release theatrically on 31 December 2021 but due to shooting delays, it was postponed to release theatrically on 23 December 2022.

Production
The principal photography began on 17 November 2020 in Mumbai. In November 2021 after promotions and release of his long pending film for release, Sooryavanshi (2021), Shetty began the filming for final schedule at Ooty. This film is inspired from William Shakespeare play The Comedy of Errors.Ranveer Singh first time ever played the double role in this film. On 15 May 2022, he shared the poster of Cirkus on Instagram and announced release date.
