Committee on Transport and Communications

(Parliamentary) Committee on Transport and Communications[1] (Swedish: Trafikutskottet) (TU) is a parliamentary committee in the Swedish Riksdag. The committee areas of responsibility concern roads, railway, the sea and air transport, road traffic safety, mail services, telecommunication, and Information technology (IT) as well as research activities in the field of communication.

The committee's Speaker is Jens Holm form the Left Party,[2] along with Anders Åkesson as the vice-Speaker form the Center Party,[3] Magnus Jacobsson as the second vice-Speaker form the Christian Democratic Party,[4] and Teres Lindberg as the third vice-Speaker from the Social Democratic Party.[5]
