Lite Me Up is a disco-funk album by Herbie Hancock. Lite me up was the first Herbie Hancock release without producer David Rubinson since 1969. On this album, Herbie Hancock was influenced by long-time friend and producer Quincy Jones[4] and sessions included many musicians associated with Quincy including Steve Lukather and Jeff Porcaro of Toto (band). The album is also notable since as the first album on which Herbie plays the Synclavier, a digital polyphonic synthesizer.
