Prince and 3rdeyegirl concert chronology

The Live Out Loud Tour was a concert tour by American recording artist Prince and 3rdeyegirl which took place in 2013. The tour reached North America and Europe. Announced in January, the concerts were so highly anticipated. The tour is composed of Prince performing with his new band 3rdeyegirl. For some shows, The New Power Generation would also join them on stage. The name of the tour comes from the song "Live Out Loud" by Prince and 3rdeyegirl.[1]

Background

Dr. Funkberry, close to Prince, announces on his blog for fans of Prince that he promises a great year for 2013. The main event is the Montreux Jazz Festival where Prince has already made two appearances. In the first rehearsals, many directions occurred that recall the One Nite Alone... Tour. Prince's new band is called 3rdeyegirl and is exclusively female. In January 2013, a new website was created and regularly delivers unreleased material.

Prince will play two shows a day, in small types of theater halls. It will have a more structured set list, although that can easily vary. Most major hits are discarded, including "Purple Rain" at the start. But following the titles of several Canadian newspapers "Where's Purple Rain?", the traditional signature song will be added. The set list contains hits rarely played such as "I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man", "Endorphinmachine", "Bambi", "Adore"; recent songs and rarely performed live such as "Dreamer", "Guitar", "Crimson and Clover"; and unreleased tracks "Screwdriver", "Fixurlifeup", "Plectrumelectrum".

At the Montreux Jazz Festival, Prince in 2013 performed three consecutive concerts. The first two had The New Power Generation performing with him and 3rdeyegirl. The third is with 3rdeyegirl only for a new atmosphere.
