The Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral[1] (French: Cathédrale Saints Pierre et Paul de Lubumbashi)[2] or simply Cathedral of Lubumbashi, is a religious building belonging to the Catholic Church and is located between the Kapenda and Kasa Vubu avenues of the city of Lubumbashi[3] in southern part of African country of the Democratic Republic of the Congo,[4] specifically in High Katanga province. Nearby is the Convent of St. Peter and St. Paul and several provincial government buildings.

Its history dates back to 1920, follows the Roman or Latin rite and functions as the headquarters of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Lubumbashi (Archidioecesis Lubumbashiensis) which was created in 1959 by the Bull "Cum parvulum" of Pope John XXIII. It is under the pastoral responsibility of the Bishop Jean-Pierre Tafunga.
