Touch FM
The Touch FM network is a group of stations owned by Quidem. The network includes stations in Coventry, South Staffordshire, Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon, Nuneaton & Hinckley, Loughborough, Banbury and Rugby, both of which still retain their local branding.
The network of stations are listed below.
- Touch Radio (Coventry), formerly Kix 96
- Touch Radio (Stratford-upon-Avon), formerly The Bear 102
- Touch Radio (Warwick)
- Touch Radio (Burton, Lichfield and Tamworth), formerly Centre FM
- 107.1 Rugby FM
- Banbury Sound, formerly Touch FM 107.6
- Oak FM Hinckley, Nuneaton and Loughborough (Defunct)
The latter station was formerly owned by the Lincs FM Group until 2012, when it was acquired by Quidem.[1] Oak FM and Touch FM (Burton, Lichfield and Tamworth) broadcast from a studio centre in Coalville, Leicestershire. Oak FM was sold to ATR Media in 2015 and later ceased broadcasting in July 2016.[2].
All of Quidem's stations broadcast from a studio in Honiley, near Kenilworth in Warwickshire.
Brand-licensing agreement with Global Radio
In September 2019, it was announced that Quidem were running at a financial loss and the business had entered into a brand-licensing agreement with Global Radio. This change means that the Quidem group of stations will take one of Global's brands under the brand-licensing agreement [3]. As of the beginning of October 2019, Ofcom opened a consultation following Quidem's request for its six stations to make significant changes to their formats [4].
