Wreckx-n-Effect is an American new jack swing group from Harlem, New York City who are known for their multi-platinum hit "Rump Shaker" in 1992, which was produced by Teddy Riley.[1]

History

Material loss

On June 25, 2019, The New York Times Magazine listed Wreckx-n-Effect among hundreds of artists whose material was reportedly destroyed in the 2008 Universal fire.[2]
