This category contains requested images that are specifically maps of protected areas such as national parks. Articles listed should be covered by WikiProject Protected areas

Requests can be made with the {{WikiProject Protected areas}} banner on the talk page. Include a "|needs-map=yes" parameter, e.g. {{WikiProject Protected areas|needs-map=yes}}

Maps should include an outline of the area covered by the park, and not merely a dot of pushpin (though including this map type as well may be useful). Please remove the template parameter once the map request has been filled.

The Map workshop, maps listed here may and should be brought to the Map workshop in order to be actively worked on.
